One of the recent releases which came in with a lot of hype is ‘Yeto
Vellipoyindhi Manasu’. The reason for the hype was it came from the
house of Gautham Menon and it had the hit pair of Nani and Samantha in
the lead. Above all, it had music by maestro Ilaiyaraaja and was
considered a soul stirring romantic tale.
Now, the reports are arriving from various collection centers and here is an update. It is heard that more than Tamil Nadu, the response is better in Andhra Pradesh. The Tamil version titled as ‘Neethane En Ponvasantham’ had Jiiva pairing up with Samantha. But then, it doesn’t mean the Telugu version is a hit.
Sources reveal the collections are fluctuating between average to good. Some of them say it is not a film which has to be watched bunking colleges and schools. Mostly, it is the serious audience which is coming and the youth audience is not so appealed by it. They say it is very slow and too serious for them.
