The flip side of being a director is that one hit might take you to a
big range but one flop can also bring you to the ground. That is why,
every film is like a life and death for a director. Right now, the
situation of director Veerabhadram Chowdary who is doing the film ‘Bhai’
starring Nagarjuna seems to be like that.
Apparently, Nag’s success graph is not on track. His last venture ‘Damarukam’ was just average despite good talk. The days of Nag’s films getting strong openings, thumping collections is not there. Veerabhadram has already given two hits in the form of ‘Aha Naa Pellanta’ and ‘Poola Rangadu’.
So, instead of going with a young hero he went with an old hero for his third film. If he produces a hit it will be life booster for Nag, otherwise it will be a big blow for director. This is more crucial for Veerabhadram because if he gives success then his image will get boost, if he flops then hat trick will be gone. Overall, it is no loss for Nag but for Veerabhadram it will be a heavy blow
