Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu might be saying
“good-riddens” when his party MLAs, one after the other, are defecting
into the YSR Congress party headed by Kadapa MP Y S Jaganmohan Reddy,
but Naidu’s son Lokesh Naidu seems to have taken it to his heart.
Lokesh, who has been extensively using social networking site Twitter to attack the political rivals of the TDP, turned his ire on the defectors from the TDP. In his latest tweet, Lokesh wondered what people would call those who had got political life with the TDP and then supported another party. “Political betrayer, cheat, crook, deceiver or 420?” he asked.
Interestingly, there were a few replies to his post, which pointed out that Naidu, too, had defected from the Congress to the TDP. It was the Congress party which gave political life to Naidu, but he conveniently dumped it to join the TDP. What should one call him then? One of the posts sought to defend him saying there was no TDP when he started his political life.
Lokesh, who introduces himself as executive director of Heritage foods, party worker of the TDP and “evangelist” of Cash Transfer Scheme, in his earlier post made fun of the Congress for copying his father’s schemes.
“At 1,000 km, they announced a poor copy of cash transfer scheme and at 2,000 km, we hear loan waiver. Are Naidu’s padayatra tremors being felt in Delhi?” he tweeted
