The YSR Congress party leaders, who have been brainwashing the people
about a secret understanding between the Congress party and the Telugu
Desam Party obviously to project their party as the only alternative in
the state politics, have now gone a step further. They are now
campaigning that the TDP would get merged into the Congress party after
the 2014 elections.
Ironically, the statement has come from actress-turned-politician Roja, who till a couple of years ago played a major role in the TDP as the Telugu Mahila president. She predicted on Sunday that TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu would merge his party with the Congress in 2014 as was done by actor Chiranjeevi who had merged his Praja Rajyam Party with the Congress after 2009.
“There will be no TDP after 2014, as it would become part of the Congress. Naidu has not been able to claim that he is going to form the next government. What he is doing now is not “padayatra” but a punishment yatra,” she said.
It was Roja, who was attacking late Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy and ridiculing his welfare schemes. Now she says Naidu was claiming YSR schemes as his schemes.
“He is copying YSR’s welfare schemes, while carrying the photograph of N T Rama Rao,” she said.
One would hate politics on seeing leaders like Roja.
