For, he is able to take decisions in a cool and quiet atmosphere on selection of candidates for the next assembly and Lok Sabha elections with a peaceful mindset. Had he been outside the jail, he would have been under several pulls and pressures from various quarters; and that would have denied him an opportunity to take decisions independently, say sources.
“Jagan has a lot of clarity on what he has to do. But he will naturally be under pressure when he is outside. And when he is in the jail, it is difficult for the ticket aspirants to meet him and do lobbying. That has given him a chance to take decisions with a cool mind. That is precisely why he is completing the process of appointing constituency-level in-charges as early as possible, so that the candidates would be ready by the time he comes out of the jail. He can straightaway launch the campaign,” party sources said.
