There is no doubt when we say the business of cinema has become tough
and making a mark at the box office needs lot of effort. But lately,
the trend has been changing largely in the small budget flicks as the
makers are focusing more towards perverted and adult content to tap the
youth and masses.
Though it is somewhat unhealthy, the results are motivating. The talk right now in Filmnagar is about one C-grade film raking in good collections. We are talking about the film ‘3G Love’. Reports say only Nizam share touched Rs 2 crores. Though it is C grade movie it has completed 25 days and business closed at high returns.
Apparently, the makers are stating it is C-grade but C here stands for Commercial grade cinema. Well, whatever the terms they want to cover it up with, the fact remains that ‘3G Love’ is indeed a third rated cheap flick but the other fact is, it has emerged a winner at the box office.
