Does KCR Really Deserve MP Seat?

Telangana Rashtra Samithi president K Chandrasekhara Rao is representing Mahbubnagar parliamentary constituency in Lok Sabha and has been, no doubt, fighting for the statehood to Telangana.
But there are hardly any instances of KCR raising the problems of Telangana people in general and that of Mahbubnagar constituency in particular in Lok Sabha. He rarely goes to Lok Sabha and even if he attends the session once in  a while, he never participates in any debate nor does he raise any question pertaining to Telangana problems either during the question hour or zero hour. Once in a while, he gets up to raise the separate Telangana issue only to be snubbed by the Speaker and other party members.
So, people have now started questioning whether KCR deserves to be elected as MP of a Telangana constituency.
“No doubt he is fighting for Telangana, which he can do even without being an MP. But  if he is elected as an MP, he has to attend Parliament and represent the problems  of people in his constituency. It is better he drops from contest in the next elections and see that another Telangana leader is fielded in his place, even if it is his son or daughter,” a Telangana leader observed.
