Is This True SS Thaman?

The life and career of S S Thaman has always been something of a mystery or a bag of questions to many in the film circuit. Within a short span, he became a top league music director and though there is no variety or flavor in his tunes, he still has a good demand. And now, another discussion has begun to make rounds.
This is about his age. According to databases like Wiki, Thaman is aged 27 but those who look at him say it may not be true and he could be more elder than is being quoted. Apparently, Thaman made his debut as an actor with the film ‘Boys’ in the year 2003. If the Wiki record is correct then Thaman must be 17 at that time.
However, friends of Thaman reiterate that he is indeed 27 and it is only due to his size he looks like a 30 year old. There were few speculations in between that Thaman would get into some major weight reduction process to dispel such rumours. Anyways, for now it looks like the age number of this young music director is true.
