Lawrence Considers Himself A VVIP!

These days, every celebrity considers himself or herself a VVIP and expects a very special treatment from others, even it is a holy place like Tirumala.
Take for example, Telugu film actor, choreographer and director Raghava Lawrence who foul mouthed the staff of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams when he was not given the VVIP treatment in the temple. He alleged that the TTD staff had behaved rudely with him and pushed him when he was having darshan of Lord Venkateshwara on Sunday.
“If this is the case with a VIP like me, what is the fate of common man?” an agitated Lawrence asked.
The TTD staff on Monday reacted strongly to the comments of Lawrence against them.
“If he considers himself a VIP, we are not bothered. Being Sunday, there was a heavy rush in the temple and we have no other option but to push the devotees forward. Otherwise, it would be extremely difficult to handle such a heavy rush.  If Lawrence does not apologise for his comments, we will not allow him to come back to Tirumala again,” the staff warned.
The outburst of Lawrence reminds us of a news report in a Telugu daily long ago. It was about heavy rush in RTC buses during festive season and the reporter could not get a seat in the bus.
“If that was the treatment given to a reporter, what is the fate of the common passenger?” the reporter wrote, as if he was the VIP who expected the RTC staff to make special arrangements for him to travel!
