Purandeshwari's Next Seat: Vijayawada Or Nellore?

It is more or less certain that union minister of state for commerce and industry Daggubati Purandeshwari would be shunted out of her Visakhapatnam Lok Sabha constituency, thanks to the intense lobbying by Rajya Sabha member T Subbarami Reddy with the high command to grab the Visakhapatnam seat.
It is learnt that Purandeshwari has been asked to choose between Vijayawada and Nellore to contest the next parliament elections, but she is very keen on contesting only from Visakhapatnam. She even told the party leadership that she would rather prefer stay away from the contest, rather than being shunted from one constituency to the other in every election. However, the top leaders are said to be convincing her to shift to Vijayawada or Nellore.
Apparently realising that Purandeshwari might unseat him from Vijayawada, local MP Lagadapati Rajagopal had announced a couple of days ago that he would contest from Vijayawada for the third time and there was no question of shifting to any other constituency. But if at all Purandeshwari has to give up Visakhapatnam for TSR, she would prefer Vijayawada parliamentary constituency because it falls in her native district Krishna and moreover, it is dominated by Kamma community. But with Lagadapati puts his foot firmly down, she may be shunted to Nellore, where she has to build up her image all over again!
