US Box Office: Good, Bad And Ugly

Telugu films in US are making notable business only when they get patronage from NRIs. And that patronage is possible only when the film gets good talk as able entertainer. As per the latest trade updates, here are the collections of recent Telugu films at US Box office.
‘Shadow’, in its opening weekend collected Rs 16.52 lakhs (US $ 30,511) from 52 screens. Since the talk is not satisfied, it is needless to say that the collections from coming weeks will be meager.
NTR’s ‘Badshah’ that got enough kick start collected Rs 6.92 Cr (US $ 12, 77,774) so far after its fourth weekend.
Siddharth’s NH4 collected Rs 12.56 lakh (US $ 23, 206) for Tamil version and the collections from Telugu version were not reported.
Nithin’s much talked hit film ‘Gunde Jari Gallantayinde’ colleted Rs 1.6 Cr (US $ 2, 80, 000) so far by second weekend.
