Why Kona Missed Baadshah Disc Function?

Tollywood has a very few writers who can pen quality scripts with ease. And one among them is Kona Venkat. He is the star screenplay writer for many blockbuster films and he will be treated in high regard in the industry. Also, he is the man who is instrumental in the success of films like 'Venky', ‘King’, ‘Ready, ‘Dhee’ and 'Dookudu' directed by Srinu Vaitla. Once again, the writer-director duo has worked for NTR's 'Baadshah'.
Buzz says that Kona has not been in talking terms with Vaitla from a few days. The strong grapevine is that Kona is unhappy with the way Vaitla is treating him. If the reports are to be believed it was Vaitla who has instructed his designers not to include Kona’s name on the publicity posters of ‘Baadshah’. Though Kona openly vented his frustration for missing his name on the posters, in a quick time he blamed designers for this development and assured that from now on all the posters will have his name.
Further, Kona is upset over the fact that Vaitla is not giving credit to him and writer Gopimohan in the title cards of the film. Hence, Kona has insisted Vaitla to give their due for their work but the director is in no mood to listen to the writer's words. Since then, there is a war brewing in between Kona and Vaitla and that's why the writer gave it a miss to the Hexa Platinum Disc function of ‘Baadshah’ held on Sunday, adds sources. It remains to be seen where and when this battle ends.
