One glance at his career graph and one is bound to feel pity. It is a known fact that actors who do not have a filmi background find it very difficult to establish themselves in the industry. It becomes mandatory for such actors to have consistent hits.
Nani is not among the lucky few. Though he did have a couple of hits in the past, he hasn’t had a hit in a while. Eega was a huge hit, but his role was more of a supporting actor. Also, he has made some moves that have proved to be detrimental to his career.
His latest project Paisa is facing financial problems. It is not clear as to when the film will be released. Similarly, the Tamil film which is a remake of the Hindi hit film Band Baaja Baarat is not being made in Telugu. As Jabardasth was heavily inspired by BBB, it is not being made in Telugu.
So, despite being considered a bankable actor, success eludes Nani. But to move up the ladder, he will have to have deliver hits.
