There are many who use media when it suits them and then treat the media people very badly once their job is done. There are increasing number of such instances in the film industry too. The latest person to misbehave with the media is Dil Raju. On Saturday, he held a press meet to announce the postponement of Ram Charan starrer-Yevadu. The time mentioned in the press release was 7 pm. The cocktail party was to follow the press meet.
But Dil Raju walked in at 8.30 pm. When questioned about his late entry, he retorted, “What do you have to do with me? You haven’t come for me. You came here for the drinks.”
Naturally, the media personnel took offence and immediately walked out of the venue. Later, Dil Raju made amends by saying he meant it in jest. But the media personnel were in no mood to accept his version.
Dil Raju should have been frustrated with the postponement of Yevadu, but that is no reason for him to misbehave with media and treat them as jokers. Time you got your act right, sir!
