The newly formed Telangana film chamber had sent a letter to the Group
of Ministers formed to resolve the state bifurcation issue. In the
letter, Syed Rafi, the Secretary of Telangana film chamber urged the GoM
to look in to the disproportionate allocations of lands to Seema Andhra
film makers. He also requested for compensation to Telangana artistes
who were deprived of opportunities due to Seema Andhra sway in film
industry.
