What Dasari Wants To Convey?

Gone are the days when veteran Dasari Narayana Rao was making his presence felt through his directorial ventures. These days, he makes headlines more for his controversial statements during film related events and functions. Recently he came out with some fire on the small budget moviemakers and the ‘Boothu’ content they are depending on.
Dasari was reportedly insisting that small movies are not coming in decent format. But the small segment filmmakers are not too receptive to that. They are saying “What is his anguish if films make money? He calls himself as the savior of small moviemakers, will he be producing small movies?”
They add “He has been making a lot of money distributing big hero films, why cannot he take up one small budget movie, something he calls ‘decent’ and promote it? The best job is to take a mike and keep criticizing about what we do but if we get support from the industry biggies then why will we have the need to make such type of films.” Wonder what Dasari has to say to this.
