CBI Testing Jagan's Patience

The Central Bureau of Investigation is virtually testing the patience of YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, who has since been in jail for 10 months in connection with his alleged illegal assets case.
The CBI on Monday indirectly hinted that Jagan would have to remain in jail for some more time. In a status report submitted to the CBI special court on the investigation into seven major issues pertaining to the case, the agency said the investigation into investments in Bharati Cements and Sandur Power, besides into flow of money from fake companies and Lepakshi Knowledge Hub issue was at crucial stage and it would take some more time to complete the investigation.
The CBI also told the court that it would “soon” file the charge sheet into the issue of investments by Penna Cements and Dalmia Cements in Jagan’s business empire. It is now clear how soon it would be.
It clearly shows that the CBI is not going to submit its final charge sheet, but would continue to drag the case in the name of filing supplementary charge sheets. This would enable the agency to keep Jagan in jail for an indefinite period, thereby shattering the hopes of Jagan’s fans who have been waiting for his release from jail on bail.
