Srihari, who recently met YSR Congress party president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy in Chanchalguda jail recently and announced that he was joining the party, told the media on Thursday that he would not like to be a part-time actor and part-time politician. “I would like to be a full-time politician. I will dedicate my entire time towards working for the YSR Congress party. I will make the people feel proud of me, once I enter politics,” he said.
Srihari, who gained much popularity with his aggressive role of “Share Khan” in the blockbuster film “Maga Dheera,” reiterated that he would contest the next elections on behalf of YSR Congress party from whatever constituency he was allotted. “And I will be available to the people always. I will not create a situation that the people would complain about their missing MLA,” he said.
