Is Keeravani Surviving Because Of Him?

When it comes to music directors of Tollywood and the seniors in that field the name of Keeravani pops up first. He is not only an experienced musicmaker but also a successful one. But then here is something else. There is a talk that Keeravani is surviving because of the director S S Rajamouli.
Apparently, some are giving the credit to Rajamouli and state that otherwise Keeravani would have faded. They add that Rajamouli being a family member has been giving all his films and they are scoring hits. But if you look at his recent movies it is not the case barring the exceptions of ‘Eega’ and ‘Rajanna’
There are films like ‘Badrinath’ ‘Dammu’ which got decent response in terms of songs. Keeravani is doing for everyone and wherever he is doing there have been hits. He is giving good music, the goodness of his songs is that the lyrics are clearly heard and that’s his USP. So, that argument is wrong that Keeravani is surviving because of Rajamouli. He doesn’t have any youthful pomp and though he is 50 plus he is still competing with young sensations like DSP, Thaman.
